Greetings. This is Eric, and my older mother and 2 middle-aged Japanese ladies and I did an afternoon kayaking trip with Darren on August 3, 2007. I just wanted to say how much we ALL enjoyed it!! It was
fantastic how your company was so very flexible to fit our needs and requests (especially since NONE of us had ever kayaked before... and... because 2 of the 4 in our party had limited English ability). Darren, our coolAustralian guide, was very gentle and understanding, and took us anywhere we wanted along the river, at our pace, and explained lots of interesting things about the area and wildlife and even supplied some snacks at our request. It was a totally memorable experience in the best of ways. I will definately recommend your company to anyone I know who is looking to do some water adventures in the Las Vegas area... It was such a GREAT experience, made even better by the fact we kayaked in the lower (non-busy part) of the Black Canyon in the afternoon/early evening. We are all still talking about it. In fact, I am now back in Japan where I live, and one time recently when I noticed the Japanese ladies showing others their trip pictures, I asked one of the ladies what her best memories where from her LOS ANGELES/GRAND CANYON/LAS VEGAS summer trip. She said she had many, but that kayaking was number 2 (number 1 was seeing the Grand Canyon ... but the kayaking adventure was a close second she said, so that should tell you how much she liked that experience with your company.) Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you again, and that I will be

proper word. This year - totally different deal. What's made the difference was our little time together (with Kayak Lake Mead) on your river (the Black Canyon of the Colorado), when I came to appreciate that waves and wind can be my friends, as long as I learn to use them properly. I certainly respect this big ol' river, but I'm much more relaxed and learning to understand how to paddle and play in all the chaos. It's pretty fun actually. "

"Robert, having done a little paddling and renting a variaty of different types of boats, I'm always leary of what type of kayak an outfitter uses. It was a great pleasure to paddle the kayaks you supply. Its actually easy to see the top quality outfitters, they're the ones that have great guides and use top notch equipment. Watching some of the other groups go down the river in beat up old rentals made me sad for the paddlers but happy that my wife and I chose your company."

The experience was one of the most memorable one we have ever had. I especially enjoyed talking with you about your experiences as we paddled along the river. Rose had a fantastic time. She had so much confidence in herself after you told her she could do it in that wind, she never had a problem with it. She just told me to say thank you for the tow..That goes for me too! "Just wanted to pass along that I really think my new Eddyline Fathom is fantastic!!! After picking it up I
headed out to Lake Mead. The wind was blowing quite a bit so the water was rather choppy that morning. Not exactly the best conditions to be out with a new boat but I figured this would give me the perfect opportunity to really test the Fathom. At first there was a couple of scary moments when the waves would broad side me but the boat responded really well leaning into the waves. I'm really impressed with the way the Fathom tracked in the wind once I got the skeg adjusted. Seeing how my first boat didn't have a rudder or skeg I was constantly fighting to keep that boat tracking correctly. Can't believe how much of a difference deploying the skeg makes on tracking. Can't wait to really give the Fathom a workout on the Colorado River. If anyone is considering getting a new kayak, I would highly recommend that they check out the Fathom. Thanks again Robert I think I made a good choice in choosing the Fathom. Can't wait to get out on the water with you all again."

Over the past two years I’ve been researching different brands and types of kayaks, but there was always something about each that didn’t offer the whole package. Until Kayak Lake Mead introduced me to Eddyline…specifically the Night Hawk 16. It offers me, a relatively new paddler, the opportunity to
confidently paddle in all conditions. So many people advised me to not consider a kayak without a rudder. I quickly discovered, with instruction from the experts, that the Night Hawk 16 is easily maneuvered in the wind and waves, and the skeg works great when a little tracking assistance is needed. There’s plenty of room to haul everything needed for a few days on the water, AND…it looks great! Also, the recommendation of a Swift paddle was right on. When I first held it I was delighted with how light it was. Now I’m delighted at how tough and powerful it is. The Night Hawk 16 and the Swift paddle…my “whole package!”

Robert placed the order, kept me updated on the delivery schedule and made sure that the kayak arrived in good condition. He was also helpful in recommending an appropriate paddle, and clothing. He also provided instruction on paddling technique which exceeded the training I received in San Diego. The forward stroke, edging and self recovery were all taught in a manner that would help me to understand not only what to do, but why I was doing it."
