Paddle from Temple Bar to Wild Burro Bay and Hike to the top of The Temple:

This is a full day trip, the most arduous trip of the kayaking-hiking trips that we recommend, with about 6 miles of paddling and about 6 miles of hiking. Again, this is to an area that few people explore by kayak and fewer yet by foot.

To get to Wild Burro Cove, we'll paddle across Temple Basin. Then we'll hike a classic desert narrow canyon to the top of Burro Mesa, cross Burro Mesa to another classic desert feature, a thin narrow ridge, then we'll follow that ridge along a Burro trail to The Temple.

This trip is one of the most photographic trips that you can do with Kayak Lake Mead.
