Our reward in hosting a kayaking trip for you is just - your good memories. That is why all of our kayaks and paddles are high performance and are a joy to paddle. Our kayak trips are all within the Lake Mead National Recreation Area and are anywhere from just 45 minutes to 2 hours from Las Vegas, Nevada.
We have specific trips (not tours) we offer. Your trip is customized for you. You tell us what you want to do!

Trip Descriptions

- In the Boulder Basin of Lake Mead
- Below Hoover Dam in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River
- In the Temple Bar area on the eastern portions of Lake Mead
- This trip includes hiking, a hot spring soak, and kayaking - Our Desert Adventure
- Our Moonlight Paddle on Lake Mead or in the Black Canyon
Types of Kayak Trips and Costs:
1. Half-Day Kayak Trip: $120
- If you don't have all day but want to get in some kayaking during your visit to Las Vegas
- About 4 hours or so of paddling to a beach and a picnic
- Scenic views of desert and wildlife
- Can include a clinic of advanced paddling skills
- In the Boulder Basin of Lake Mead OR in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River
2. Full Day Kayak Trip: $160
- A full day of paddling, exploring, exercise, relaxation, and maybe some hiking...
- About 6 or so hours of paddling to a beach and a picnic
- Scenic views of desert and wildlife
- Can include a clinic of advanced paddling skills
- Boulder Basin or Temple Bay OR in the Black Canyon
3. The Desert Adventure: $200
- 3 mile hike
- 8 mile downstream paddle
- This trip is in the Black Canyon and takes about 6 to 8 hours depending upon how much time we just sit in the hot springs!
4. The Short Overnight Desert Adventure: $260
- This is the Desert Adventure but done as a short overnight
- It's a fantastic trip as we can spend all night in a hot spring
5. Moonlight Paddle: $120
- A wonderful 3 to 4 hours
- In the Black Canyon or on Lake Mead
6. The Short Overnight Kayak Trip: $200.00
- Any trip can be turned into a short overnight
- Leave late in the afternoon and return in the morning
- Coffee and a morning swim or kayak skill clinic
- Early morning return
7. Adventure Fitness Vacation: $150.00 per day for group or $240 per day for private
- One to three days of exploring the desert and yourself
- Running along burro trails or down a canyon
- Kayaking for speed and distance
