Kayak Lake Mead's
Moonlight Paddle Trip
"Paddling in the Black Canyon, in the moonlight, is a fantasy come true." ~ Robert Finlay
"But you better have your moonblock."
You have to experience a Black Canyon paddle trip under the moonlight. For the most part, the Black Canyon is a bit more protected from winds than is the open waters of Lake Mead. On a nighttime kayak trip in the Black Canyon, as on Lake Mead; we just go out, paddle easy and enjoy the night's sounds, it's breezes, and it's sky.
The best time for a full moon paddle is the 3 days before, during, or after a full moon. However, you don't need a Full Moon, or for that matter, any moon at all to schedule a moonlight trip with us.
Our moon light paddle trips are Half-Day Trips. The cost is $120 per person. The duration is 3 to 4 hours. The minimum group is 2 people and the maximum is 7.
